Home grown. Made by hand. Custom. One of a Kind. These words mean something to me. I have always been attracted to making things myself. From a cake, to biscuits, from the beading on my wedding dress to the bedding in my first daughters crib, learning to make it myself has always been one of my favorite ways to create. I feel like I was created to create.
When I first learned about Etsy, I opened a shop and started selling some clothes I made for little girls. Then, I got caught up in making custom quilts....and almost anything I could to support our first adoption.
Then came child number 8. And priorities shifted. And I closed my shop. Now Tyler is almost two and the thought of other children needing a home is pulling our heartstrings. So, I have opened my shop back up with a few items to help with the expenses of adoption.
My family loves to create and share the love of handmade with others. We hope that you find something you can share too!
